L'Alfambra est un affluent de la rivière Túria, il naît dans la Serra de la Moratilla, au sommet de Peñarroya à environ 2 000 mètres d'altitude dans la province de Teruel.
Dans un parcours sinueux, d'abord en direction du nord puis en direction du sud, ses débordements occasionnels causent de graves dommages aux potagers des petites localités qu'il traverse. La rivière traverse les localités de Galve, Orrios et Alfambra, d'où elle tire son nom, ainsi que Peralejos, Cuevas Labradas, Tortajada et Teruel où elle se jette dans la rivière Túria. Ses eaux sont rougeâtres en raison de la présence d'une grande quantité d'argiles.
