Boskene i Baga de Gresolet eller Bosc de Gresolet er inkluderet i en af sideopstrømsbassinerne af floden Campllong inde i en dal, der er orienteret fra øst til vest og døbt med samme navn. Denne dal er afgrænset mod nord af Muralla de les Balmes, som tilhører Cadí, mod sydvest af den nordlige skråning af Carrilet og mod sydøst af den vestlige ende af Solivella-bjerget. Skoven strækker sig over et højdeinterval, der går fra cirka 1.000 m i dalens bund til over 2.000 m i de højeste højder. Dette område er et klimatransitionsområde og er kendetegnet ved et kontinentalt klima med middelhavspåvirkning, hvilket medfører regn og blødgør temperaturerne.
