Il Bosco della Baga di Gresolet o Bosco di Gresolet è incluso in una delle sottobacini del fiume Campllong all'interno di una valle orientata da est a ovest e battezzata con lo stesso nome. Questa valle è limitata a nord dalla Muraglia de les Balmes che appartiene al Cadí, a sud-ovest dal versante nord del Carrilet e a sud-est dall'estremo occidentale della sierra di Solivella. Il bosco si distribuisce in un intervallo di altitudine che va, approssimativamente, dai 1.000 m sul fondo della valle fino a oltre i 2.000 nelle quote più alte. Questa zona è di transizione climatica ed è caratterizzata da un clima continentale con influenza mediterranea, il che porta piogge e ammorbidisce le temperature.
