Saint-Martial-de-Gimel er en fransk kommune beliggende i departementet Corrèze i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Klimaet, der karakteriserer kommunen, blev i 2010 klassificeret som "ændret oceanklima", ifølge typologien for klimaer i Frankrig, som dengang omfattede otte hovedtyper af klimaer i metropolen. I 2020 falder kommunen stadig ind under samme type klima i den klassificering, der er lavet af Météo-France, som nu kun i første omgang omfatter fem hovedtyper af klimaer i metropolen. Det drejer sig om et overgangsområde mellem det oceanske klima, bjergklimaet og det semi-kontinentale klima. Temperaturforskellene mellem vinter og sommer stiger med afstand til havet. Nedbøren er mindre end ved kysten, undtagen i nærheden af højderne.
