Vitry-en-Perthois er en kommune i det franske departement Marne med 793 indbyggere. Stedet er en del af arrondissementet Vitry-le-François. Landsbyen hed tidligere Vitry-le-Brûlé, fordi den to gange er blevet lagt i aske, først af kong Ludvig VII i 1143 og derefter af kejser Karl V i 1544. Ved det første angreb lod Ludvig VII sætte ild til en kirke, hvor mere end tusind mennesker havde søgt tilflugt. Fortrydelsen over denne massakre skulle have været en af grundene til, at den franske konge satte sig for at iværksætte det Andet Korstog.
