Saint-Vincent i Laon blev grundlagt som kirkegårdskirke omkring 580, nævnt som kloster første gang i det 10. århundrede og opløst under revolutionen. Den sidste intakte bygning fra klosteret brændte ned i juni 2008.
I år 513 bestemte biskop Remigius af Reims, at en forkant i sydvest for Tafelberget i Laon skulle være kirkegård for byen. Samtidig fastsatte han, at den kirke, der blev bygget her til ære for St. Kristoffer, ville blive biskoppens andet sæde i Laon – og dermed også gravstedet for biskopperne. Omkring 590 lod dronning Brunichild opføre en basilika, hvor munke kort efter bosatte sig, underlagt den strenge Columbanregel, uden at der endnu var tale om et kloster.
