Le Queyran er et overgangsland mellem Landes-skoven og Garonne-sletten. Grundlagt af Edouard 1., blev Villefranche etableret her i 1280, ved bredden af Ourbise. Bastiden har en regelmæssig plan, med meget tæt byggeri på den store gade. En hal, meget gamle bindingsværkshuse, slottet fra det 16. århundrede, som blev ombygget i det 18. århundrede, kirken i landsbyen fra det 15. århundrede (meget ombygget) og kirken i Saint-Savin, som ligger eksternt (klassificeret MH), vækker interessen for denne landsby.
