Moulin de Chitré er en tidligere fælles mølle fra middelalderen, knyttet til slottet med samme navn.
Efter produktionen af mel og olie blev møllen i slutningen af det 19. århundrede udstyret med avantgarde maskiner: en elektrisk generator, en vandpumpe og et ishus, alle drevet af et kraftfuldt "Sagebien"-hjul. På det tidspunkt var der kun få steder, der var i stand til at samle alle "nye teknologier" fra den industrielle revolution på ét sted.
Loftet i Moulin de Chitré er blevet omdannet til et museum om vandtematikken og naturreservatet Pinail.
Belvedereet tilbyder en smuk og unik udsigt over bredden af Vienne, med dæmningen og den 15. århundrede porte marinière foran dig. I Moulin de Chitré finder du også en reception, et udstillingsområde, en naturlig have og picnicborde.
