Registreret som historisk monument i 1963. Ifølge overleveringen blev Pepijn de Korte begravet under den oprindelige kirke. Den præ-romanske krypt er et smukt eksempel på karolingisk arkitektur. Stedet er åbent hele året rundt, efter anmodning ved turistkontoret i Vireux-Wallerand - place du château. Bemærk: turistbureauet i Val d'Ardenne er åbent: april til september: tirsdag til søndag fra 10.00 til 13.00 og fra 14.00 til 18.00; oktober til marts: tirsdag til lørdag fra 10.00 til 13.00 og fra 14.00 til 17.00.
