Salisbury Katedralen har en del rekorder: Katedralen har det højeste kirketårn i Det Forenede Kongerige, som er 123 m eller 404 fod højt. Besøgende kan tage på "Tårntur", hvor indersiden af det hule tårn, med dets gamle træstillads, kan ses. Katedralen har også den største klostergård og den største katedralbygning i England (80 acres). Katedralen indeholder verdens ældste fungerende ur (fra år 1386) og har et af de fire overlevende originale eksemplarer af Magna Carta (alle fire originale eksemplarer er i England).
