Linton-on-Ouse er en landsby og civilt sogn i Hambleton District i NordYorkshire, England, omkring otte miles nordvest for York. Den ligger på nordsiden af floden Ouse.
Landsbyen er nævnt i Domesday Book som Luctone i Bulford hundred. Godset på dette tidspunkt var delt mellem Thorfin af Ravensworth og Thorn af Linton. Senere blev godset givet til Robert af Mortain. Godset gik til Thomas de Ros, 4. Baron de Ros i det 14. århundrede og forblev i deres familie indtil midten af det 16. århundrede. I begyndelsen af det 18. århundrede blev de manorial rettigheder solgt til University College, Oxford. Universitetet byggede en skole i landsbyen i 1871.
