Linton-on-Ouse è un villaggio e una parrocchia civile nel distretto di Hambleton nel North Yorkshire, Inghilterra, a circa otto miglia a nord-ovest di York. Si trova sulla riva nord del fiume Ouse.
Il villaggio è menzionato nel Domesday Book come Luctone nel centinaio di Bulford. In quel momento il maniero era diviso tra Thorfin di Ravensworth e Thorn di Linton. Successivamente il maniero fu concesso a Robert di Mortain. Il maniero passò a Thomas de Ros, 4° Barone de Ros nel XIV secolo e rimase nella loro famiglia fino alla metà del XVI secolo. All'inizio del XVIII secolo i diritti signorili furono venduti al University College di Oxford. L'università costruì una scuola nel villaggio nel 1871.
