Braunton er en stor landsby, civil parish, kirkelig parish og tidligere herregård i Devon. Landsbyen ligger 5 miles vest for Barnstaple. Det er en af de største landsbyer i Devon med en befolkning på 10.217 mennesker ifølge folketællingen i 2021. Der er to valgkredse. Deres samlede befolkning ved den nævnte folketælling var 8.218. Inden for sognet ligger det frugtbare, lavtliggende Braunton Great Field, som grænser op til de bølgende Braunton Burrows, Kerneområdet i North Devon Biosphere Reserve, den største psammosere i England. Den konfronterer Atlanterhavet mod vest for sognet ved den store strand ved Saunton Sands, en af de internationale surfingstrande i Sydvesten.
