Bossall er en landsby i Ryedale-distriktet i NordYorkshire, England med færre end 100 indbyggere. Området siges at have inkluderet paladset af kong Edwin af Northumbria i det 7. århundrede, før han flyttede sin domstol til York. Sankt Botolphs Kirke blev bygget i det 12. århundrede med senere ændringer og er en bygning af klasse I. Betegnelsen Bosall blev trukket fra navnet på biskop Bosa af York fra det 7. århundrede, som siges at have bygget en kirke her.
Samfundet nævnes i Domesday Book som Boscele og som Bosciale i hundrede af Bulford; på det tidspunkt blev ejendommen ejet af "Hugh, søn af Baldric" eller Hugh fitzBaldric og omfattede en kirke. I 1086 var der 19 indbyggere i cirka 6,9 husstande, ud over en præst. Denne ejendom gav en årlig indkomst på "3 pund i 1086; 2 pund 10 shilling i 1066".
