Argos er en by i Argolis, Peloponnes, Grækenland og er en af de ældste kontinuerligt beboede byer i verden og den ældste i Europa. Det er den største by i Argolis og et stort center for området.
Siden reformen af den lokale regering i 2011 har den været en del af kommunen Argos-Mykines, som den er en kommunal enhed i. Den kommunale enhed har et areal på 138,138 km2. Den ligger 11 kilometer fra Nafplion, som var dens historiske havn. En bosættelse af stor oldtidsværdi, Argos har været kontinuerligt beboet som mindst en betydelig landsby i de sidste 7.000 år.: 121-
