Klenovica er en ferieby i Kvarnerbugten direkte ved den kroatiske Adriaterhavskyst. Det ligger cirka 50 km sydøst for Rijeka. Nabobyen er Novi Vinodolski, som ligger cirka 10 km væk. Der er meget få tidligere studier om oprindelsen og udviklingen af Klenovica, især fra begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede til i dag har ingen taget det alvorligt.
