Castel del Monte's største turistbegivenhed er La Notte delle Streghe eller Heksenes Nat, en årlig begivenhed, som byen er velkendt for. Afholdt i midten af august, besøger tusinder byen for det sene nattefænomen, hvor hele den historiske bydel fungerer som en scene for beboere, der spiller rollerne som byboere og hekse i et folkeligt drama på den lokale dialekt kendt som "Castellano".
