Kirken for Santa Maria Assunta er sognet i Zero Branco, i provinsen og bispedømmet Treviso; det er en del af vikariatet i Paese.
Sognet i Zero Branco blev første gang nævnt i bullen Justis fratrum af pave Eugenios III i 1152; det var moderparrish for de tre mindre sogne i Sambughé, Rio San Martino og Sant'Alberto.
I 1485 blev kirken omdannet til en tre-nave kirke og fik i den anledning en generel renovering.
