Bladel ) er hovedbyen i den ligeså nævnte kommune Bladel i den hollandske provins Noord-Brabant. Stedet ligger i regionen Kempen.
Navnet Bladel kan blandt andet findes som Bladele, Pladella og Bladella, men siden 1280 har stavemåden været: Bladel. Endelsen -el stammer fra lo eller lauha, som betyder skov. Betydningen af forleddet Blad- er ukendt, men det kan have relation til et egennavn. Forleddet "Blad" kunne også være afledt af bladra, som betyder hævelse, forhøjelse af et sted. Navnet Pladella for en villa i 2. halvdel af det 13. århundrede kunne også pege på en bolig på en forhøjelse i landskabet.
