Wijnhuistoren i Zutphen er et eksempel på et klokketårn med klokkeslag. Tårnet blev bygget mellem 1616 og 1642 og er en del af kroen "to Vreden", som allerede var nævnt før 1326. Den ældste byggefase er stadig til stede i kælderen og stammer fra omkring 1300. Funktionen af Vreden eller Het Wijnhuis var udover at være kro også byvejer, opholdssted for byvagten og sted for offentlige meddelelser fra bystyret.
