La Torre del Vino a Zutphen è un esempio di un campanile con carillon. La torre è stata costruita tra il 1616 e il 1642 ed è parte dell'osteria "to Vreden", di cui si parla già prima del 1326. La fase di costruzione più antica è ancora presente nel sotterraneo e risale a circa il 1300. La funzione di Vreden o della Casa del Vino era, oltre a quella di osteria, anche di pesa pubblica, alloggio della guardia cittadina e luogo di pubbliche annunci del governo cittadino.
