La Tour de Vins à Zutphen est un exemple de beffroi avec carillon. La tour a été construite entre 1616 et 1642 et fait partie de l'auberge "to Vreden", dont il est question dès 1326. La plus ancienne phase de construction est encore présente dans la cave et date d'environ 1300. La fonction de Vreden ou de La Maison des Vins était, en plus de celle d'auberge, une halle de la ville, un abri pour la garde urbaine et un lieu d'annonces publiques du conseil municipal.
