Sexbierum er en by i kommunen Waadhoeke i den hollandske provins Friesland. Sexbierum ligger cirka 7 km fra kommunens administrationscenter i Franeker.
Byen er i dag især kendt for sit navn, der tilsyneladende forbinder ordene Sex, Øl og Rom. Byen nævnes første gang i 1322 under navnet Sixtebeeren, som sandsynligvis stammer fra navnet på den helligkårede biskop af Rom, Sixtus II, og det frisiske ord bere, der betyder "hus".
