Snakkerburen er en landsby i Leeuwarden kommune i provinsen Friesland, Holland. Den havde en befolkning på omkring 225 i januar 2017. Snakkerburen var oprindeligt et landbrugssamfund. I det 15. århundrede flyttede nogle butiksejere fra Leeuwarden ind, fordi det lå uden for byens jurisdiktion. I det 17. århundrede blev der etableret teglværker og ovne langs den kanalisede Dokkumer Ee. I 1840 var Snakkerburen hjemsted for 287 mennesker.
