Snakkerburen is een dorp annex buurtschap in de gemeente Leeuwarden, in de Nederlandse provincie Friesland.Het ligt aan de oostoever van de Dokkumer Ee, aan de noordkant van de stad Leeuwarden en ten zuidwesten van Lekkum. In 2021 telde het dorp 195 inwoners. Snakkerburen vormt samen met de dorpen Miedum en Lekkum al eeuwenlang één gemeenschap. De drie dorpen worden ook wel De Trije Doarpen genoemd.
