Snakkerburen è un villaggio nel comune di Leeuwarden nella provincia di Frisia, nei Paesi Bassi. Aveva una popolazione di circa 225 abitanti nel gennaio 2017. Snakkerburen era originariamente una comunità agricola. Durante il XV secolo, alcuni negozianti di Leeuwarden si trasferirono, poiché si trovava al di fuori della giurisdizione della città. Nel XVII secolo furono stabiliti forni di mattoni lungo il canale Dokkumer Ee. Nel 1840, Snakkerburen ospitava 287 persone.
