Baaium er en landsby i den hollandske provins Friesland. Den ligger i kommunen Waadhoeke, omkring 15 km sydvest for byen Leeuwarden. Baaium havde en befolkning på omkring 118 i januar 2017. Landsbyen blev første gang nævnt i det 13. århundrede som Baym, og betyder "beboelse af folkene fra Bado eller Beie". I 1186 blev et kloster af præmonstraterne grundlagt som St. Michaels Bjerg, men blev almindeligvis kendt som Monniken-Bajum. Klosteret blev ødelagt i 1592. En kirke blev bygget i slutningen af det 12. århundrede. Kirken blev erstattet i 1876.
