På den høje søjle sidder fem figurer. Frihedsskikkelsen rejser sig over figurerne af borgere og soldater samt symboler for Tro, Retfærdighed, Håb og Kærlighed.
Sten vil fortsætte med at vidne om ærbødighed for heltene fra Airborne under ledelse af General Roy Urquhart, der kæmpede her for vores frihed.
I 2011 blev der i anledning af den 65. Airborne vandretur afsløret et monument Soldat med Blomsterpige.
Hvert år finder der på den første lørdag i september en éndagsvandring sted, den største af sin slags i hele Europa.
