Sur la haute colonne se trouvent cinq figures. La figure de la liberté se dresse au-dessus des figures des citoyens et des soldats et des symboles de Foi, de Justice, d'Espoir et d'Amour.
La pierre continuera à témoigner du respect envers les héros de l'Airborne sous le commandement du Général Roy Urquhart, qui ont combattu ici pour notre liberté.
En 2011, à l'occasion de la 65e marche Airborne, un monument Soldat avec Fille aux Fleurs a été dévoilé.
Chaque année, le premier samedi de septembre, une marche d'un jour a lieu, la plus grande de son genre en Europe.
