Ved slutningen af det 15. århundrede blev der påbegyndt byggeri af en kirke i stil med den flamske og Kemmens gotik. Tårnet blev bygget omkring 1480. I 1882 blev kirken restaureret. I 1944 blev bygningen sprængt af tyskerne, hvor også den berømte korbænk blev ødelagt. I 1951 var restaureringen fuldført.
I forgrunden det tidligere rådhus i Wouw.
I kirkehallen er der en Mariakapel.
