A finales del siglo XV se inició la construcción de una iglesia en el estilo del gótico flamenco y de Kempen. La torre fue construida alrededor de 1480. En 1882 la iglesia fue restaurada. En 1944 el edificio fue volado por los alemanes, destruyendo también el famoso coro. En 1951 se completó la restauración.

En el vestíbulo de la iglesia hay una capilla dedicada a María.
