De Giessen er en sumpflod i den hollandske region Alblasserwaard med en længde på ca. 16 kilometer, der har sit udspring i to mindre sumpflodder i østområdets område, Noordeloos og Kromme Giessen. Floden løber gennem kommunerne Molenlanden og Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Den flyder i sydvestlig retning langs byerne Overslingeland, Pinkenveer, Giessenburg, Giessen-Oudekerk, Neder-Hardinxveld og Giessendam for derefter at ende i Merwede i Neder-Hardinxveld.
