Kaeng Khoi er en distrikt i den nordøstlige del af Saraburi-provinsen, Central-Thailand.
Distriktet blev oprettet i 1827 og kaldt khwaeng Kaeng Khoi. Distriktkontoret var i Ban Tan Diao. I 1897 blev khwaeng omdannet til et distrikt. Distriktets kontor blev flyttet fra Pa Sak-flodbredden til den nærliggende Kaeng Khoi Junction jernbanestation i 1915.
Dets navn Kaeng Khoi stammer fra Raeng Khoi, som kan oversættes til 'grib venter'. Fordi distriktet i fortiden var indgangen til Dong Phaya Fai eller i dag det nu omdøbte Dong Phaya Yen. Den store regnskov var fuld af vilde dyr og malaria. Mange mennesker døde, mens de rejste her, så ofte samlede gribene sig for at vente på at spise ligene. [Kilde: Wikipedia]
