Kaeng Khoi è un distretto nella parte nord-orientale della provincia di Saraburi, in Thailandia centrale.
Il distretto è stato creato nel 1827 e chiamato khwaeng Kaeng Khoi. L'ufficio distrettuale si trovava a Ban Tan Diao. Nel 1897, il khwaeng è stato convertito in un distretto. L'ufficio del distretto è stato spostato dalla riva del fiume Pa Sak alla vicina stazione ferroviaria di Kaeng Khoi Junction nel 1915.
Il suo nome Kaeng Khoi è una deviazione da Raeng Khoi, che può essere tradotto come 'il avvoltoio in attesa'. Perché il distretto in passato era la porta d'ingresso per Dong Phaya Fai o attualmente il rinominato Dong Phaya Yen. La grande foresta pluviale era piena di fauna selvatica e malaria.
