Die Generali Open 2016 waren ein Tennisturnier, welches vom 18. bis 23. Juli 2016 in Kitzbühel stattfand. Es war Teil der ATP World Tour 2016 und wurde im Freien auf Sandplatz ausgetragen. In derselben Woche wurden in Gstaad die J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad, in Umag die Konzum Croatia Open Umag und in Washington, D.C. die Citi Open gespielt. Letztere gehörten zur Kategorie ATP World Tour 500, während die anderen drei Turniere zur niedriger dotierten Kategorie ATP World Tour 250 gezählt wurden.
Der Titelverteidiger waren im Einzel Philipp Kohlschreiber und im Doppel Nicolás Almagro und Carlos Berlocq.
