Die MTB-Route 450 von Gerlos in der Zillertal Arena ins südlich gelegene Schönachtal ist die perfekte Tour für die ganze Familie. Das Ziel ist die urige Issalm, die im Sommer (bei Schönwetter) bewirtschaftet wird und eingebettet zwischen Felsabbrüchen liegt. Der breite Wirtschaftsweg dorthin ist fünfeinhalb Kilometer lang, leicht zu fahren und hat einen sanft bis mäßigen Anstieg. Meist geht es durch Almgebiet, auf Weidevieh ist achtzugeben.
Die Tour beginnt im Dorf beim Jägerstüberl und führt zunächst über eine Brücke auf die andere Seite des Gerlosbachs. Nun der Route 450 nach rechts schwenkend ins Schönachtal folgen. Die Asphaltstraße wird von Schotter abgelöst, es geht am Jörglerhof vorbei und am Gasthaus Lackenalm. Die Route endet an der Issalm. Zurück geht es auf der selben Strecke.
