Schon der Ausgangspunkt, der Dorfkern von Alpbach, ist Grund genug für diese mittelschwierige Schneeschuhwanderung: Hier verzaubern Kapellen und Bauernhöfe im typisch Alpbacher Baustil. Von dort aus geht es in Richtung Bischoferalm auf 1.267 Metern Seehöhe. Nach einer ausgiebigen Rast in der Alm geht es mit Schneeschuhen retour nach Alpbach oder Sie sausen mit einer Leihrodel zurück ins Tal.
Der Beginn dieser Tour liegt beim Romantikhotel Böglerhof in Alpbach. Von dort aus geht es entlang der Skipiste des Böglerlifts bergauf in Richtung Thierberg. Im Anschluss folgen Sie dem Wanderweg A3 in Richtung Hausberg. Danach geht es weiter bergan auf dem Weg A6 in Richtung Bischoferalm.
