Die Kirche von Schepdaal liegt etwa 90 m über dem Meeresspiegel und fast auf dem Gipfel von Schepdaal. Der Friedhof liegt noch etwas höher. Das bedeutet, dass man normalerweise einen steilen Aufstieg hinter sich hat, wenn man die Kirche erreicht hat. Das Café vor der Kirche mit einer kleinen und gemütlichen Terrasse mit Blick auf die Kirche ist somit ein perfekter und verdienter Halt für Radfahrer oder Wanderer.
