Slijpe ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Westflandern und ein Ortsteil von Middelkerke. 1971 wurde die bis dahin selbstständige Gemeinde Teil der Gemeinde Spermalie, aber diese neue Fusionsgemeinde wurde bereits am 1. Januar 1977 aufgelöst, wonach Slijpe zu Middelkerke eingegliedert wurde. Über das Gebiet von Slijpe verläuft der Kanal Plassendale-Nieuwpoort. Im Westen des Ortsteils liegt rund um eine Brücke über diesen Wasserweg das Weiler Rattevalle.
