Das monumentale Kopfgebäude der Pier von Blankenberge erreichen Sie nach einer 350 m langen Betonbrücke. Die erste Version dieser Pier-Brücke, eine Eisenkonstruktion, stammt aus dem Jahr 1894. 1914 wurde das Kopfgebäude von den Deutschen in Brand gesteckt. 1933 wurde eine Beton-Pier gebaut. 2003 wurde alles nochmals komplett renoviert. Im Kopfgebäude gibt es ein gemütliches Café. Es werden auch regelmäßig Ausstellungen organisiert.
