Die Sint-Benediktusabtei von Achel, häufig auch als die Achelse Kluis bezeichnet, ist eine Zisterzienserabtei, die teilweise auf belgischem, teilweise auf niederländischem Gebiet liegt; der belgische Teil befindet sich in der Gemeinde Hamont-Achel, der niederländische in der Gemeinde Valkenswaard.
Offiziell heißt die Abtei Unsere Liebe Frau von La Trappe des Heiligen Benedikt. Diese Mönchsgemeinschaft entscheidet sich für ein Leben gemäß dem Evangelium, in freudiger Erwartung der Wiederkunft Jesu Christi. Die Abtei ist unter anderem bekannt für das gleichnamige Trappistenbier Achel, das seit 1998 in der eigenen Hausbrauerei gebraut wird (Quelle: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdij_van_Achel).
