Direkt hinter dem Wagenhaus neben einem Teich, an dem sich die Winge mit einem erheblichen Gefälle hinunterstürzt, biegen wir rechts ab. Aufgrund der zahlreichen Wasser- mühlen, die die Winge bis zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts antrieben, wird dieses Nebenfluss der Demer auch „Molenbeek“ genannt. Die Tallandschaft zeugt von einer für flämische Verhältnisse seltenen Unversehrtheit mit einer reichen Fauna und Flora. So können wir im morastigen Winge-Tal unter anderem wilde Orchideen finden.
