Die sogenannten "Oktoberhallen", die 1957 von der Brauerei Van Roy als Festhalle für die Wieze Oktoberfeste gebaut wurden. Diese Veranstaltung, die Wieze internationale Bekanntheit verschaffte, fand hier zuletzt 1986 statt. Jetzt wird sie als Messe- und Veranstaltungshalle genutzt.
