Lanklaar ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Limburg und ein Stadtteil der Stadt Dilsen-Stokkem. Es war eine eigenständige Gemeinde, bis es bei der Fusion von 1971 der neu gegründeten Fusionsgemeinde Dilsen-Stokkem hinzugefügt wurde.
Lanklaar liegt geografisch teilweise im Maas-Tal und teilweise auf dem Kempens Plateau. Dadurch gibt es einen erheblichen Höhenunterschied zwischen dem Dorfkern im Osten der Zuid-Willemsvaart und dem Plateau, auf dem sich ausgedehnte Wälder und die Wohngebiete Große Homo und Kleine Homo befinden, eine Verballhornung des Familiennamens von Joseph Haumont, einem Kondukteur von Brücken und Wegen, der sich hier um 1840 niederließ. Zwischen dem Dorfkern und dem Plateau liegt das Industriegebiet von Lanklaar.
