Lanklaar es una aldea en la provincia belga de Limburgo y una parte del municipio de la ciudad de Dilsen-Stokkem. Era un municipio independiente hasta que se incorporó en la fusión de 1971 al nuevo municipio fusionado de Dilsen-Stokkem.
Lanklaar se encuentra geográficamente parcialmente en el valle del Mosa y parcialmente en la meseta de Kempen. Debido a esto, hay una diferencia de altura considerable entre el núcleo del pueblo al este del Zuid-Willemsvaart y la meseta donde se encuentran extensos bosques y los barrios residenciales de Grote Homo y Klein Homo, una tergiversación del apellido de la familia de Joseph Haumont, un conductor de Puentes y Caminos que se estableció aquí alrededor de 1840. Entre el núcleo del pueblo y la meseta se encuentra la zona industrial de Lanklaar.
