Westkerke ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Westflandern und ein Stadtteil der Stadt Oudenburg. Es war eine selbstständige Gemeinde bis zur Gemeindereform von 1977. Auf einer Sandanhöhe gelegen, ist Westkerke eine alte Siedlung, die sich früh von der Pfarrei des nahegelegenen Roksem abspaltete. Westkerke bildete einen Stützpunkt für die Eindeichungen des tiefer gelegenen Landes und für die Schafzucht auf den Schorren. Das Patronatsrecht der Pfarrei lag in den Händen des Sint-Bertinus-Abteien in Sint-Omaars. Auch die Sint-Pieters-Abtei von Oudenburg und die Tempelritter hatten dort Besitztümer.
