Peissant ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Hennegau und eine Teilgemeinde der wallonischen Gemeinde Estinnes. Peissant war eine eigenständige Gemeinde, bis sie im Zuge der Gemeindereform von 1977 Teil der Gemeinde Estinnes wurde. Der Name Peissant bedeutet übrigens Gras essen.
