Unsere Liebe Frau zur Noodkapelle, gelegen auf einem dreieckigen, bewaldeten Grundstück am breiten Anfang der Straße, einer abgeschnittenen früheren Kurve der Landstraße von Moerzeke nach Kastel an einer Gabelung, jetzt in der Nähe der Ecken De Pannestraat und Vrijboomstraat. Wegkapelle, die auf eine mindestens aus der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts stammende Kapelle am Westrand des bebauten Kerns des Weilers Kastel zurückgeht. Erwähnt auf der "Carte figurative von het Gehugte van Castel, prochie von Moessche …" (1771-1772) und im Landbuch von Moerzeke (1772-1782). 1941 restauriert, siehe die aus Hartstein gefertigte Gedenktafel im Gehweg vor der Kapelle mit der Inschrift: "Im Jahre 1941/ wurde diese Kapelle/ dank der großzügigen Spende/ des Herrn/ Gerard Hollaert/ restauriert".
