Die Quellen des Bächleins liegen etwas nördlich des Dorfkerns von Retinne. Zwei Quellen sind gut sichtbar. Eine Quelle befindet sich bei einer Kapelle, die der Heiligen Juliana in der Voie des Messe gewidmet ist. Der Name des Flusses Julienne verweist auf die Heilige Juliana von Cornillon, die 1192 in Retinne geboren wurde. Eine andere Quelle liegt in der Rue Fernand Chèvremont. Es handelt sich um zwei artesische Quellen, aus denen das Wasser vertikal aufsteigt.
