* Naturschutzgebiet Paradies in Orp-le-Petit
Paradiesstraße - 1350 Orp-Jauche
Dieser ehemalige Kalksteinbruch wurde einst zur Herstellung von Zement genutzt. Ein wahres Oasen in einer Region mit großflächigen Kulturen, birgt es eine interessante Pflanzemosaik: Röhricht, Vegetation von trockengefallenen Gewässern, kalkliebende Brachflächen, thermophile Saumvegetation usw. Mehrere sehr seltene Pflanzenarten auf regionaler Ebene gedeihen hier, wie zum Beispiel die wilde Süßholzwurzel (Astragalus glycyphyllos), das arabische Luzerne (Medicago arabica), der kleine Winderich (Acinos arvensis) oder die Fuchs' Orchidee (Dactylorhiza fuchsii). In Bezug auf die Fauna können dort insbesondere verschiedene Amphibienarten sowie die Blindschleiche (Anguis fragilis) beobachtet werden. Die Avifauna ist recht vielfältig. Das Gelände wird vom Naturschutzverein der Gemeinde Orp-Jauche verwaltet.
